  1. My dad was in NYC this weekend! You know, along with literally millions of other people, so I suppose it's not like an amazing coincidence or anything. I still have yet to go, and it's pictures like these that make me sad about that fact!

  3. I don't think i could ever walk through Times Square and be unaffected. It's such a sensory overload in the most mesmerizing and beautiful way.

  5. Nice shots, esp that first one! I'm so mixed on NY. I love it, but I have awful sidewalk rage.

  7. Wow. Have I ever told you I have never been to NYC? I've driven through, but never stopped. I'm not a big city person. I'd much rather visit the country, which is why I would never choose just to go to NYC over anywhere else. Not that I am afraid of the city or anything. I grew up in Baltimore. Ever seen The Wire on HBO? My neighborhood wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that far removed either.

  8. Oh, I am so jealous!!! It looks beautiful. My cousin moved to NYC not that long ago and now lives in Times Square. I told him that he can be expecting an invasion of me and Mr. A sometime in the near future.

  9. I forget most of you guys live far away. If you haven't visited NYC yet, you really should. It's a special place. Merely walking the streets is fun: you can sense the electricity in the air.

I live an hour outside the city in a comfy suburb. Going in is an easy train-ride. If you're ever in the New York area and need a place to stay, call me! I'll take you into the city for fun and excitement.

  10. New York, New York! My favourite city in the world! I hope to go in March for my birthday (my boyfriend took me there last year so maybe it can be a tradition!) You are very lucky that you are so close! Great photos- you really captured the life and excitement of the Big Apple! xo Emily
