Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

If you're celebrating the day, what are your plans?

If not, how do you feel about the day?

  1. It is my daughter's birthday so we don't do any "Valentine" stuff for each other except cards. We want to keep it "her day".

  2. Happy Valentines Day!! I am going to a parent teacher conference lol. We are going to celebrate this Saturday. Restaurants are too crowded for me on Valentines Day. I am not a fan of waiting 2 hours to have dinner lol.

  3. Honestly, I am really clueless of my Valentine, but one thing for sure I told my husband last week that I don't need any present or card and I hope he will not do anything coz he already spent so much for my prescription glasses and car accidents.

  4. Happy Valentine's Day! I love it...but maybe that's because it's the first time I've had a boyfriend with whom to celebrate it. I had my "Valentine's Day" on Sunday because my boyfriend might have to work late today, though I still might see him for a bit. It was sweet; he gave me a red rose, an adorable card and lots of candy in a cute little heart shaped box. He also wrote me the most beautiful poem! I'm a very happy girl this Valentine's Day. I gave him this little book I made him and baked him adorable cupcakes with cupid's arrows in them. :)

  5. I enjoy Valentine's Day (I usually refer to it as V-Day), but we're not doing anything out of the ordinary: I will do my WW meeting (I'm looking forward to giving my members the "love yourself" speech), then play D&D with my guy friends and my husband. He and I are probably going to go for dinner at a little restaurant on Thursday night, and we're going to a hockey game on Friday night, so that's about it. We don't do gifts, but I did send him an e-card.

    Happy V-Day, Ally!

  6. Happy Valentine's! I'm going to eat something yammy (as usual, I'm not cooking) and play board games (we'll pick one from what we have with dice).

  9. I am not celebrating, but I am ambivalent to the day. Hubs and I celebrate if it's convenient. But if, like today, we have classes - we skip it. We do stuff for and with each other all the time though, so I don't feel like I'm missing out.

I'll probably make him take me out this weekend, but tonight, I'll just cook something decadent for us both. Maybe some grilled salmon, buttery rice and fresh peas? Mmm! I'm such a foodie this week. XD
