We dined at my favorite spot (Russ & Daughters) where we ate delicacies like pastrami-cured salmon, caviar, deviled eggs, matzo ball soup and babka french toast.
We talked about our lives, politics and culture. Of course we also gossiped about our blogger-friends like Suzanne, Sheila, Lynne, Megan Mae and Tiina. I told Patti about my girlfriends Aimee and Jen. We had a lovely conversation.
I can't walk around New York without taking pictures, so a few are below. Have you ever visited New York?
How lovely to meet Patti! And what a great building with that cat. I've never been to New York, friends did and they want to return every year.ReplyDelete

Such a fun dinner, my friend! Thank you again from my heart. xoxReplyDelete
That sounds like fun, and how great it is that you could meet up.ReplyDelete
It's been ages since the last time I was in New York! Somehow, from my European perspective, New York seems 'so far away'. It's crazy, and it has more to do with the hassle of travel than anything else: the long flight, getting visas, the really long wait at the immigration etc. I suppose when you get older you're less willing to put up with this sort of hassle. I mean, I'm off to Barcelona today, and it's a 4-hour flight, which seems like it takes forever! But at least I can just walk in and out of the plane without having to put up with any passport controls etc.
I understand. My frustration with air-travel, even within the U.S., prompted me to consider riding more. With all the lost time at the airport, I often can get somewhere in the same amount of time by motorcycle.Delete
How lovely to see Patti!!!xReplyDelete
What a fun time!! I love Matzo ball soup when I'm sick. It cures what ails ya!ReplyDelete
Patti is so stinking cute! I am glad you had a great time, it sounds like a blast :)ReplyDelete
Love all the murals on the buildings!ReplyDelete

That's awesome! I'm constantly impressed by the number of blogger meetsups you're able to participant in, Ally. It must be a joy of no small magnitude to get the opportunity to interact with so many of your dear online friends. I hope that oodles of more meetups come your way in the next few months of 2016 and beyond.ReplyDelete
