Romance

The moment my eyes set up this dress, I thought romance.  The dress is ethereal and dreamy.

I put it in a setting suitable for something romantic.  The dress may not be practical for everyday wear but it certainly is fun to play with.

During the photoshoot, the dress whispered in my ear and suggested new poses.  I explored them and wonder what you think.  Care to tell me?

  1. That dress is so gorgeous! Where on earth did you find that pretty thing?? It's so dainty. I want it! This is such a wonderful pairing. The light pink with the green shoes is great. Perfect spring colors. =)

  2. Ha, this is evidence that clothing can bring out a side of us we may not have known was there! It's a beautiful dress.

  3. It's got a bit of a flapper vibe to it, too! I like it. You could wear a big, black sequin-y headband.

New poses are always good. ALWAYS. I need to do this.

  17. The new dress is beautiful, but why isn't anyone commenting on the BOOBS? Probably because it's awkward. Well, I'd like to go on record to say that they look amazing and make the outfit. xoxo

  20. Hahaha, I really never thought to comment on boobs, but Doe took care of that. :)

But what I do love is how ingenious it is that you chose to pair pale green shoes with the neutral dress and that it goes with the overall background of this room. :)

On another note, the blogshop is finally up, you can check it out through the blog. :)

  24. Oh, aren't you a doll in that dress. How pretty!

Shy, I thought of you yesterday when I was getting a pedicure, because it struck me as something you might really enjoy. Have you ever treated yourself to one? You seem so very inquisitive about female life, and a nice salon with lots of ladies getting their toes pampered is such a quintessential way to experience a little of that. To be 'one of the girls' as it were. And since you probably wear closed-toed shoes in your outside life anyway, you could use your painted toes as a way of sneakily bringing a little bit of this world into the other one, and no one would be the wiser.

  25. Oh, Audi... this makes me want to cry. I've *always* wanted to do that. And "to be 'one of the girls'" is my life's greatest aspiration. You touched one of my deepest dreams.

BTW, my toes are painted bright pink or red every day, but I apply the polish myself (poorly). I've never had anyone do it for me. I wish that would happen.

  26. You just melt my heart, you really do. Your sense of wonder and awe at even the simplest aspects of female life makes me appreciate being a woman in a whole new way. Please don't deny yourself a minute longer -- make an appointment for this weekend! You'll love it, I promise. Don't just get the basic pedi either, go for one of the fancy ones. They take longer, so you have more time to really immerse yourself in the experience. :-)

I would *love* to read what you have to say about it if you get one.

  29. That dress is beautiful... the way you're sitting reminds me of when Anne Hathaway is taking princess lessons from Julie Andrews in the Princess Diaries :)

  33. That dress is GORGEOUS!!! Totally something I'd wear. Ethereal is definitely the right word for it. Great choice of shoe color to add to the slightly foresty feel.

LOL to Doe and the boobs. I've never mentioned it, not because it's awkward, but because you make everything look so natural that it never crossed my mind.
