A Dress Of One's Own

Continuing my movement toward conventional style, I found this attractive dress at Kohls for a low price.

I like it.  The dress is a cute color, has a nice design-feature near the bust, and is a length I like.  Some may say it's too short, but I enjoy showing off my legs.

What do you think of the dress?  And should older people only wear long lengths?

  7. Nah, everyone can wear in what they feel good. Even a mini skirt can look good on some older people! :)
So why not, if the dress makes you feel sexy, go for it!

  9. I love the colour and cut on you! And hell, you've got the legs - show them off! :)

I'm not exactly a shining example of conservative dressing (hee), so I say if you feel good in it, wear it.

  16. Interesting, I was talking about this with mum today (she had just made a skirt that was on the short side and wanted my opinion). I don't think this is too short and I think the decision shouldn't be based on age. You have fantastic legs so can easily pull off this dress :)

  21. That's too bad, Francy. Not only is Kohl's walking-distance from my house, but they keep sending me $10 coupons!

  22. I like that color on you.
In regards to the length, I say it depends where you are going with it.
If I am going to work or anything work related I screen it carefully, I want to make sure I can sit, move around and be comfortable without showing any skin as I do not want to give the wrong impression.
Also I dont want anyone staring, it makes me way too uncomfortable and while some can control their eyes others cannot, or chose not to.
If its for weekend, anything goes.
