Yesterday I was browsing and saw this attractive polo shirt in the men's department. It's the first time I've seen one in orange. Orange became trendy last year for women but it's rarely seen in men's clothing.
The shirt is by Just Cavalli (a branch of designer Roberto Cavalli's empire) and normally costs $177 -- a sum far beyond the most I've ever paid for a polo shirt. Fortunately, the shirt was on sale at Marshalls for only $49, so I snapped it up. I like casual shirts like this; they're classier than t-shirts and perfect for Summer parties.
What do you think?
I think that is super snazzy and orange looks REALLY good on you. I love the brand detailing on the shoulder/chest too.
ReplyDeleteI love orange for guys. It is summery and fresh.
ReplyDeleteYou scored on that one. You look like you are super comfortable in it and confident too. That speaks volumes when it comes to choosing the right clothes.

Great color on you!
ReplyDeleteYes, I love Marshall's, I can always find a little "something" whenI'm there. The shoe prices are amazing!
I love polo shirts on guys, my hubby wears them often, they look less casual than normal t-shirts ! I like the orange on you, it's fun and bright ! Hugs

It looks great on you and you look really happy and confident in it. I was so glad when I scrolled down because with the first photo I thought you weren't going to show us your face. Great find! I agree, that sort of shirt is perfect for that place between the too casual tee shirt and the too formal button down.

The orange suits you!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shirt and I like it paired with these pants. I like the white piping detail on it too. Wearing that color (and with that wonderful smile) gives the feeling that you're not afraid to put yourself out there and are happy and approachable. You look like someone anyone would want to befriend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa. I hope so.
DeleteI think you look super smart! I was just mentioning to Mia (over at reading in skirts) that Orange might possibly be my favorite color. I remember when I was in middle school, we had to wear 'uniforms' in the form of a solid color polo and black or khaki pants. I was frustrated by it (as any middle school goth kid would be), but I had an orange polo that I wore with black pants that I wore at least once a week. It made me feel so cool, when all my classmates had their Abercrombie and American eagle.
ReplyDeleteYou rock your style in both menswear and ladies wear. I've always had a soft spot for guys who dress with attention to what they're putting on. So the polo? Get top marks from me.
I think orange is a great color for summer since it's nice and bright! I know so many bloggers love Marshall's, but I can never seem to find anything good when I go in there.

loving this color on you.
ReplyDeleteAlso, we need to go to marshalls on our next outing!
ReplyDeleteI like it ! and I love Marshalls. Whenever I travel I always check out if they have a Marshalls and an IKEA ;)
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot, and orange really works on you (just not the "Orange is the New Black" kind, haha). I love that you're willing to wear things that stand out even when you're not projecting as a woman. I know it helps you feel a little less bored by your men's clothing, and it shows you have true style!
ReplyDeleteI love colour so I think you polo is lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteOrange really suits you! I love the shirt...it has a retro feel to it with that fun color!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the color of this shirt! So would Kyle, he is obsessed with orange! Half because orange = Tigers, half because orange is so bright and cheerful. I think it looks great on you!

ReplyDeleteYes! This is fantastic! I love the color and that big gorgeous logo.
ReplyDeleteI actually just borrowed a pair of wide legged pants from my mother that she recently bought at Marshall's. Those pants look like a skirt. I can't wait to wear them :)
