When you find the right article of clothing -- like these simple yet dramatic pants -- you can reach Fashion Heaven. These pants look good with anything.
I styled the pants into three outfits. Which looks best?
Wonderful pants - very rocker chick. Like Lynette, the first one is my favorite - I think the top's sheer black panels add a lot of interest and the necklace is lovely.
The 1st and the 3rd (the 2nd is a little too 90s hair band, lol). You have awesome legs!
Thanks for the update on the pink boxing gloves! I'm excited to style 'em up! Thanks again for the correction on "indigent" - I'm going to get L to find another name for next year's day off.
Wowza! I vote for the first outfit as it is the best combination of feminine and sexy. I had the same reaction Sheila did to the second one, and the first one is I think slightly better than the third one. It looks like you had lots of fun and as usual I am quite envious of those legs! xo
Wow these are some awesome pants! The 1st and 3rd are my favorite, and the 2nd one looks like it would be an awesome choice if you were on your way to a rock concert (that outfit could get you pulled on stage)!
#1 is the absolute winner for me. That top gives the fun pants an elegant and feminine look. #2 is second choice. It's a little more casual than the 1st look, yet still very pretty. The middle outfit is certainly fearless though and I'd say to wear that one if you want a reeeeally WILD night. ;)
I like the third look best! Since the leggings are patterned, the simple white top tones them down nicely. And I always like a longer top paired with leggings :)
OH, I love the last look the best, Simple and so stylish. Stripes are just great classic patterns. :) Enjoy the weekned /Madison http://fashiontalesblog.com
Yeah so, I love these pants. I like the first look best but also like number three. They remind me of 1980s Nikki Sixx and I LOVE 1980s Nikki Sixx: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8ypqkBHAFT8/TJcvxz49wkI/AAAAAAAAAJU/yOmykztNsy0/s1600/nikkisixxTOP.jpg
I like the first one best! I love the hi-lo effect of the shirt and the pink necklace, which kind of draw the eye upward - and not because you don't want those awesome pants to stand out but because it just pulls it all together and feels more balanced. The sheer aspect of the top also adds a really interesting element to the whole thing without being too much. Excellent ensemble.
I lurk way too much and rarely comment, but I had to stop by this post and compliment you. Very few people can pull off a striped leggings look like that, but this is probably one of my favorite sets of outfits for you EVER. Looking at these, I think it's your height that makes the stripes work, and the leggings themselves play up your height and your strength, in the very best ways. It's a different kind of feminine than just cutesy and frilly; it's powerful and sexy and all female. Brava!
Love the first one really stylish.

I love the first and last outfits; they really let the pants be the focal point. And oh my god those pants! They are amazing.
ReplyDeleteGreat pants!! I like the first outfit best, plays up the dramatic aspect.
ReplyDeleteI love the third one. I think it says I'm sexy and I just don't care that you know.

I have not dared to try the striped trousers… yet. They are indeed a bold garment and I like them, your first look is my fave-.
ReplyDeleteOmg these pants are like Beetlejuice in the best way possible!!! I like the third outfit best, but the first is a close second :)

ReplyDelete#1 without hesitation.
ReplyDeleteLoved #1, the sheerness at the bottom of the top shows more of the leggings. Great look!
ReplyDeleteMy vote is with numero uno. There is something so feminine about it. It's effortlessly chic!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I aspire to that.
DeleteI like the last one the best. It's very mod housewife.
ReplyDeleteThat's a look I'd love to create.
DeleteI like the third look best! Since the leggings are patterned, the simple white top tones them down nicely. And I always like a longer top paired with leggings :)

The Tiny Heart
The are all great but the last look is definitely my favourite. Love it. The pattern mixing is also a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteI love all of them, but I think the first is my favorite. I do love the pattern mixing in the second one a lot though.
ReplyDeleteOh! SO JEALOUS! I've been coveting those style stripe leggings, but I can only ever find them in tiny Chinese women sizes.
ReplyDeleteI like the plain top the best, it really let's the pants POP!
I agree with you about fashion heaven :) and I like all the look, the first one is my favorite option ! Kisses
ReplyDeleteFashion and Cookies
I think the third is my favourite of the bunch - love the pink necklace with the black and white!

Outfit numero uno. I love the way the stripe looks under the sheer part of your blouse. Simply divine.
ReplyDeleteLisa.
My favorite is the first, but I love them all. OMG BLACK AND WHITE STRIPED PANTS!! Of course I love them.

Thank you! I like combining femininity and strength. I believe women are the pinnacle of humanity and their fortitude is too often underappreciated.
