It's easy to get discouraged by modern life. People disappoint us, society is uncaring. But when we're blue, we need to remember that there also exists beauty in the world. Real, pure beauty.
I saw this walking through my hometown today. I was struck by its utter pulchritude.
How beautiful! Mother Nature comes up trumps again xReplyDelete

Spectacular and yet the petals have begun to curl. I believe this is an hibiscus. They only remain open for a day. Be here NOW.ReplyDelete
Absolutely, the Pure Beauty and Perfection that exists Naturally all around us always leaves me in complete Awe! Dawn... The BohemianReplyDelete
Breathtaking! Flowers are one of my favorite things to shoot. The colors and simple perfection cannot be beat.ReplyDelete
This is so true. The littlest of things can make the biggest difference when we notice them. Nature can be a lovely thing.ReplyDelete
Nature can always be inspiring and soothing - what a lovely hibiscus, did you know you can eat the petals ?ReplyDelete
What a fabulous image. I am always, everyday, impressed by nature. Like a child I am captivated by the wonder of it all, as well as the beauty. Good wood, btw, I will admit I had to look it up!ReplyDelete
Oh, that's beautiful, Aly. I love that you stop to smell--and admire!--the flowers. Gorgeous reminder.ReplyDelete
Breathtakingly beautiful floral capture, Ally. I am with you completely on turning to nature and/or the simple joys to remind of that there is indeed good, hope and positivity in this ol' world of ours.ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing the beauty you see Ally.ReplyDelete
I went for a walk in a park in Greenhithe, Auckland, New Zealand recently and decided to take a photo of all the flowers I saw (even the weeds were pretty!!!!) and it made me see again how important it is to be present in our lives and look for the beauty all around us.
