The shed I built for my motorcycle isn't much to look at but it's perfect for my bike. Yesterday I realized that when I'm in the shed (which is almost every day), I'm happy. I thought it'd be fun to decorate the inside of the shed even though nobody sees it except me. Lacking artistic talent, I grabbed a can of black spray-paint and graffiti-ed the inside. Voila!
That sums it all up in one word : )
ReplyDeleteIt is cool that they make little sheds like this.

If its only for you to enjoy it's even better :)
ReplyDeleteIt needs pink ruffles! (Hahahahaha) ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'll see what I can dig up in the box in the garage labeled "Barbie Trims". While I'm in there, I'll try to excavate further to find you a pink and fluffy Barbie.
DeleteSo good you have your happy place!

I think it is important to enhance any space that is special to us, and to make it ours in a personal way. great job!

The idea of decorating something only you will see is a beautiful one. I remember reading about an artist (maybe Georgia O'Keeffe?) who wore clothes that were very simple on the outside but luxuriously lined on the inside. I like the idea of having something to luxuriate and take pleasure in privately.
ReplyDeleteYou need some glitter stickers. Unicorns and ponies.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta make it your own! Needs a mermaid. xox

I have to say, I am very impressed with your handwriting. Even more so because you spray painted it! Also, I received the book. Thank you SO much! I LOVE your stationary, too. It's perfect and made my day.

What a great way to personalize your shed!
ReplyDeleteDitto what Mizz Ostrich said. Looks like a trendy brush font! Impressive.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, Ally. Sometimes it's great to have a little something extra hidden away that only you can see/appreciate (in that respect, beautiful lingerie springs to mind).
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend,
♥ Jessica
Nothing a little spray paint or duct tape can't spruce up.
ReplyDeleteYour not bad with the old spray can, are you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome graffiti!!!!
ReplyDeletePlease keep us posted. I'm hoping this is a continuing project. More of your philosophy, comforting ideas, humor.
ReplyDeleteSure! Armed with the spray-paint, I also just wrote on my basement wall. :-)
