I rode home from Toronto yesterday. I made the whole journey in one day -- over 550 miles. Maybe I'm not so old after all...
When I got home, I had a well-deserved beer. It knocked me out as cold as a punch from Muhammad Ali.
Here are some more pictures from the trip. Doesn't Suzanne look badass on my bike?!
I'm so happy you made it home safe and sound : )
ReplyDeleteIt was so wonderful to have you here for a visit. Patti and I both missed you yesterday.
bisous
Suzanne
Gorgeous photos ... Glad you are home safe!
ReplyDeleteShe most certainly does, she looks as though she owns that bike-- tread carefully friend.
ReplyDeleteLove the shots, and am intrigued with the stained glass shoes?
if you are able to do what you love, then you are young!

We went to a shoe museum where they had both historical and artistic depictions of shoes.

ReplyDeleteCome! You're invited!
DeleteI like those stained glass heels!

Looks like a great trip, thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteyou drove SUCH a long way- I am so glad you got to see these lovely ladies!
ReplyDeleteThat's a long drive but I am sure certainly worth it.
ReplyDeleteSuch an impressive journey, Ally. I'm thrilled that you were able to visit Canada again and that you were able to connect with some of your very dear online friends in the process. I spot the ROM here. Did you get a chance to visit inside? Objectively, I'd say it is probably my favourite museum I've ever been to - especially the exhibits that focus on yesteryear interiors (of homes) and fashions. Hugely worth checking out, if you didn't get a chance this time around, on a future jaunt to TO.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous first week of summer!

Love the pics, I borrowed my dads sports car for the week and it has been a blast zipping around but our weather has been terrible so I haven't been able to take pics.
