Most menswear is boring so when I want to look snazzy, I put on my favorite pair of men's shoes. They are my blue suede shoes, as the song goes. (Carl Perkins did the song first -- and better -- than Elvis.)
I love how the soles are bright blue. The shoes are made by Cole Haan and I got them on steep discount in a Sak's outlet store a few years ago.

ReplyDeleteI actually really like men's shoes and colorful socks. They are often better made than women's shoes...and more comfortable as well. These are beautiful. I love the blue rubber soles. Rock and roll.

ReplyDeleteFantastic! Much like Connie, I really like men's shoes, especially those in eye-catching colour and/or with strongly classic tailoring. If money was no option and I really wanted to splash out, I'd invest in a pair of Forzieri shoes in the closest size I could get to my own (and not just because they made Nucky's shoes for the intro on Boardwalk Empire, but that certainly doesn't hurt matters). They're simply beyond gorgeous in my books.

ReplyDeleteThose are some fabulous shoes my friend! I do love the sole; it definitely adds to them. I agree, menswear can be boring. Although I taught with a man at the elementary who always wears brightly colored shirts and ties with outrageous socks to match and he always looks great.
