A Bottle of Perfume? Really?!

For $82, you can buy a new perfume at Bloomingdales made by Moschino. The most remarkable thing about this eau de toilette is the bottle.

Here it is. I kid you not!

What do you think? Clever?

  1. I think someone in marketing miscalculated on this one! Speaking for myself only, I find it tacky. If I EVER paid that much for perfume I'd want it in a beautiful container. (Although ... if I had that kind of money to waste, maybe I'd want this as a gag gift, who knows?)

  2. Bad choice! Seriously. This is not going to sell. Who wants to be reminded of cleaning that needs to be done and who wants this sitting out on their dresser?

  5. Gag jokes and present for the person who has everything...or wants to disguise their $80 perfume.
Wouldn't it be funny if someone ended up spraying cleaning product and thought it was perfume!

  11. Seems to be consistent with the over the top trend of couture. Or the new WTF trend, as I like to think of it. Like the Donald, it will get free publicity.
An excellent idea for a post....
    happy week!

  12. It reminds me of the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding where everything was fixed with windex...Could be part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming sequel.

  14. Aside from the price, I sort of completely adore it. I've always enjoyed having a shiny clean home and the traditional art of homemaking, so this feels right up my ally.
