I love Halloween. I dress up every year and like to get creative. Some of my past costumes are pictured below.
Do you dress up? What was your favorite costume? Do you have any fun ideas for me?
Caroline, Waitress
From TV Show "2 Broke Girls"
Sydney Bristow, Female Secret Agent
From TV Show "Alias" (2001-2006)
(Portrayed by Jennifer Garner)
Alice Kramden, Housewife
From TV Show "The Honeymooners"
Pastry Chef
Zombie Royals Fan
(Just after they lost the World Series)
HAAHAHAH, these are all so clever, love them!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your Halloween outfits. I always look forward to them because they're so creative. I'm trying to think of a costume for this year, considering I've actually got two months to get one.
ReplyDeleteThats awesome, i wish we celebrated it here, but it is not really done> Maybe we should have a party?
ReplyDeleteYou always do such great outfits! I'm excited about mine this year. I'm thinking of doing Lady Gaga, a mash-up of all kinds of outfits.
ReplyDeleteThat's perfect for you!
DeleteYou have the best costumes, I loved your Caroline one the most.
ReplyDeleteThese are the best! I think I am partial to Jennifer Garner. I'd like to do Helena Bonham Carter, but I don't know who'd get it. Love her hair. xo
ReplyDeleteLove these! Especially the "Alias" one.

Suzanne
Perhaps a Mermaid???
ReplyDeleteI thought about that but how would I walk?
DeleteOh you are good at these things. We don't celebrate this in The Netherlands and creative wise I am in the dumps anyway, so no suggestions from me. Love you as a secret agent. Quite the part.
ReplyDeleteGreetje
Wow. You are really prepared! So impressive. Straight to the Moon, Alice.
ReplyDeleteI love the first one! Great colors, and the jewelry.... I also think the zombie Royals fan is hilarious. You're wearing one of my favorite dresses of yours as the Alias character, as well. The best thing about all these is your big smile, like you're just about to have the best time.
ReplyDeleteI have had a lot of costumes over the years. I think my best one was I thrifted a wedding dress and went as Frankenstein's bride. I also thrifted a beautiful 50's gold silk cocktail dress made in Hong Kong. I paired that with a melty-face half mask. It wasn't portraying anyone particular, I just liked the juxtaposition of the beautiful dress with the grotesque face.
My husband, a few years ago, made two dice out of cardboard boxes and wore them strapped to his torso. He was 'Living in a Paradise' (pair of dice). That one is pretty clever.
I thought of you when I posted this. :-)
DeleteI can't believe it's time to start thinking about Halloween, but your costumes are awesome!
ReplyDeleteIf you make costumes yourself (as I do), you need at least this much time.
DeleteOMG! Too funny! Hard to choose a favorite! The waitress reminds me of the Cakemasters (Bakery in NYC) uniform that I had to wear in 1977 -- except their color scheme was pink and orange.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. Maybe we should ALL do Lady Gaga!
Virtual Lady Gaga Party! (hint, hint)
DeleteI like your two broke girls outfit. I wanted to sew an Elsa costume this year but I don't have the time. Last year my best friend and I went as Cher and Dionne from Clueless.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your halloween costumes! I want to go as a dragon this year. There is this cool event in Detroit called the Theater Bazaar, and i have never been, but this year I really want to go. It would be totally up your Ally! (See what I did there?!)
ReplyDeleteClever pun, my friend!
DeleteI'm a bit late commenting, but it's been a hectic week and took me till Friday morning to be on my computer...
ReplyDeleteAnyway...your costumes are fun, all of them. We don't really have Halloween in Europe (we do know what it is of course), and the bleakest, darkest, bleariest time of the year, anyway, so nobody wants to go outdoors unless they have to. As for suggestions... Hmm, however one of those 'Real housewives of Hell' types?
Good idea, Tiina. Thanks.
DeleteI remember seeing you in all of these costumes !
ReplyDeleteMy favourite was Syndey Bristow.
I think maybe you can do something related to Woodstock or Mermaid.
Such marvelous (and diverse) costumes!!! I love (!!!) that you're head-over-heels for Halloween, too, and that you dress up each year (so do I).
ReplyDeletePerhaps something related to the sixties, as that's one of your favourite decades, or maybe a beloved author, singer or other creative soul whose work you've long admired? Whatever you select this year, I'm sure it will be awesome!
