Your way with film is perpetually inspiring. Awesome captures. They have a dreamy, ethereal quality that draws you in instantly (plus, I really like how the first one almost looks, to my eyes at least, like it could have been snowing there at the time).
There is such an otherworldly quality to the pics the Holga takes. My fave here is the 3rd one - the contrast of light and shadow is so dramatic!
ReplyDeleteExactly. And, to me, that's the appeal.
DeleteInteresting shots Ally. I like the car one best.
ReplyDeleteThanks. That's my new Miata.
DeleteThey're very atmospheric, Ally, I love them! xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks.

Thank you. I pass the credit along to the camera and film; they produce results unattainable through digital files.
DeleteI agree, very dreamy. And that the 3rd one is my favorite. But they're all very good.
ReplyDeleteThanks. It feels like we're living in a dream, doesn't it? So this seems right.
DeleteI do feel like I've travelled to some alternate universe with these photos! The skull one is a bit creepy! The first one is so cool!
ReplyDeleteThat's the point -- art transports us to another perspective. Thanks.
DeleteWhat cool shots! By the way, got your adorable holiday card in the mail today and it made me smile- Santa in a race car! I love it!
