The best part of the Sixties was the fashion. Wild! Nothing was out-of-bounds. Women explored all kinds of looks, including do-it-yourself alterations like adding playful fringe to bell-bottomed pants. The world seemed limitless.
A fortunate find at a thrift-store last week (Rosie's Vintage) brings me back to that era. This dress is authentic vintage and its frayed-label dates it back to the Sixties. The style is unmistakably from that time.
To add to the throwback, I'm wearing white go-go boots and gold fishnet stockings. These boots are made for walking and that just what they'll do!
What do you think? Have you ever worn Sixties style?
LOVE it! And it looks like you do too : )ReplyDelete
You are one groovy gal here.
This style suits you so very well and shows off your great gams. What a fabulous find!
And um YES! I wear vintage everything ; P
Thanks, Suzanne. Your opinion (and enthusiasm) mean everything to me. :-)Delete

All of the Yeses! I love the colors and the ruffles and the boots.ReplyDelete
I think that for those of us CDs of a certain age the allure of the styles of that era will always be with us. I wonder if that is because the style became associated with good things or if as CDs we never really evolved through the changing styles of the intervening decades.ReplyDelete
Love it, especially paired with the boots! I've been into 60s makeup lately...not wearing it so much as drooling over vintage makeup ads.ReplyDelete
Me, too. Can't do it but admire it on others.Delete
It is wonderful!xxxReplyDelete
I really was born at the wrong time :) This is incredible on you--the fit is beautiful and it looks amazing with those boots!ReplyDelete

Oh yes I did! *Winks* I Loved the Fashion of the Sixties and very early Seventies... after that Fashion became culturally deprived IMO. Some of my Fav Vintage Fashions tho are from the roaring 20's, so Elegant, flirty or Sexy for Women... for the Guys so Gatsby and sharp dressed! Dawn... The BohemianReplyDelete
