Here are some pics from my visit. I'm drawn to odd things, like buildings with trees growing on top of them. Photos of the meetup participants will come in a future post.
Nice photos, Ally. That's a pretty large tree on top of that building! Pretty cool. Mermaid's Choice chocolate...so cute! And unusual. Burnt caramel with rosemary...hmmmm..... can't even imagine what that might taste like.
Vancouver is a very attractive city and I am quite fond of trees, crows, the sea flowers and chocolate. I didn't know mermaids like chocolate too! I'd have expected them to want sea salt as opposed to fleur de sel. The crow photo is my favourite! xoxo
Vancouver has such a vibrancy and powerful mix of manmade and natural beauty. It sings to me constantly and I can hear it's tune, with it being only 4.5 hours away from my own little Okanagan town. It's so fun to see some of the elements of this lively city that spoke to you, Ally - did you know that there are also some rooftop beehives (tended by beekeepers) in the city as well. I love that - proof that nature doesn't have to go out the window just because you're in a metropolis.
Stunning photos. I am also enchanted with building that have something growing on the roof! it seems incongruous, yet so good for the earth! Lovely photos , so professional! xx, elle http://mydailycostume.com
Mmmm Mink! My husband used to work right across the street. All the staff knew him very quickly....lot of coffee was consumed there. xo styleontheside.com
My first thought when I saw the last pic was condoms! LOL. Just sorta looks like a condom package to me. Not that I have really looked all that closely at a package of condoms for many years...
Nice photos, Ally.

My wife loves pics of trees so we would have taken it as well. Random pics are always the best.
