While you ponder that question, I thought I'd entertain you with some pictures I took last year at this time. I was traveling through Rhode Island and stumbled upon one of the best collection of animals I've ever seen. They are living in comfort at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. I love animals and enjoy the faces on this cute bunch. Don't you?

Happy Fourth Of July!
The national holiday is almost upon us. (Canada got to celebrate earlier this week.) Time to fire up the barbecues and watch fireworks. What are you doing this year?

ReplyDeleteI was laughing at that bird with the strange look on it's face and then you appeared. Thanks for making me laugh so early in the morning, you have brightened my day.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics. The one with the white gloves is especially cute!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, between the Ally cat and the crazy bird, I actually snorted aloud. Happy Fourth, Ally!

Ooh that pink and white stripy one looks scary!!! They have lively expressions!!! I like the dusbelieving bird the best!! Our kids did an interesting debate on zoos yesterday. X
ReplyDeleteZoo's are awesome, I haven't been to one in about 10 years. I really should go. I should make it a quest to venture out and see them before they all become extinct lol
ReplyDeleteLove the pink striped Ally cat!!!!! Wish I could spot it in my part of the world!!!
ReplyDeleteYou got some great photos...the one with the stripes is extra adorable. Happy 4th!

That picture of the bird made me laugh out loud...until I saw the one below it, when I started laughing even harder. You're too cute :)
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th. Loved your photo popping between the animal photos. So cute.
ReplyDeleteWe went to big bear for the weekend but got rained out most of the time. Made the most of it though.

Oh my goodness these are all such great shots! The Giraffe and the silly crazy bird are my favorite (after you of course!) Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures! Bald eagles are amazing. I was lucky enough to see one in Napa a few months ago. It made my day!!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha....love the one of you snuck in there..
ReplyDeleteLisa.
Oh how did I miss this one! Bloglovin plays games, I think! Hilarious photos but you are the cutest critter of them all!
ReplyDeleteThat picture of you just makes me smile so much. You are adorable.
ReplyDeleteAll gorgeous shots! Especially the rare Ally cat.
ReplyDeleteI need to convince the DH to take me to the zoo when the weather cools down. (I can't rock with these current temps).. but as for the 4th, I watched out my front/back windows while our neighborhood shot their own fireworks.
I tend to stay home on high-drinking holidays when I can help it. Unfortunately the 4th is always a bad one for accidents.
We even had a torn down factory catch fire on the third! I was at work and could see huge plumes of black smoke. It even caught into trees and took awhile to get under control. So maybe I was extra paranoid from that.
