Let's Talk Body Hair...
Body hair is one of the most visible gender characteristics, especially in a society that almost dictates women remove errant hair. Smooth and hairless is the recommended option for women.
I find that to be preferable for myself. Left untouched, my body is of average hairiness -- for a guy. Which is way more hair than a woman wants. I shave my entire body once a week and I like the sleek, smooth appearance it creates. Body hair reminds me of maleness and removing it makes me feel more natural.
Plus, I discovered when I started shaving that the skin on my arms has the same freckling my mother had. I never saw that through the hair. I like the physical reminder of my deceased mom.
Do you have a lot of body hair? Do you remove it? How? Is it easy or hard?
I shave because lesser means don't work on my coarse hair. (I tried.) One major obstacle I have is I can't reach the back of my upper thighs. How does anyone shave there? And, even with a mirror and bodily contortion, I can't seem to get my butt smooth. I once asked a gal how she got rid of hair on her butt and she looked at me strangely, explaining "I don't have hair on my butt!" Okay, so maybe it's a transgender problem, not a girl problem.
Do you have any thoughts on body hair?
