I bought tickets to a big costume party at a fancy local venue. Our friend Debbie is joining us, wearing the cheerleader costume I offered in a recent swap. (I wore it once for a photoshoot but it's reallllly too small for me.)
What are you dressing up as this year? And don't say nothing or I'll come over to your house and wrestle you into a Big Bird costume. (That one will be very popular this year.)
We don't do Halloween. I'm too much of a hermit. But I can't wait to see pics of you in your costume.

ReplyDeleteI always dress up, too. It's fun. I generally err on the side of being ridiculous, though - Gumby, banana, hotdog. Not sure what I'll be doing this year.

Not yet, but I've been meaning to. Tom Schaudel creates great restaurants and they spent MILLIONS to build-out the space for this one. I really have no excuse because it's just down the block from my house.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to be in a sexy Bavarian costume which I am recycling from years ago when I went as a Sexy Swiss Miss and handed out Swiss Miss packets of hot chocolate. My boyfriend is going to be in lederhosen - but with a kinky twist to coordinate with my black patten leather corset. We're going to be Kinky Bavarians! Last year I was his Naughty Nurse and he was my patient with a prosthetic butt hanging out of his gown! (he is a surgeon in real life!)

ReplyDeleteI'm going as Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" - I'll be in my green tweed suit, with low proper shoes, gloves and a hat...with feather crows attached all over me, and scratches of blood on my face. :) I can't wait to wear it to work! Hee hee!

ReplyDeleteI wonder if my non-costuming is related to there having been only one Halloween that I lived in a place where trick-or-treaters visited. When I was young, my parents got the same 3 trick-or-treaters every year, until they grew up!
