So whimsical and fun- butterflies are just gorgeous and I love what they represent. You're reminding me I need to unearth my butterfly headband for a photoshoot! Love the coloured tights and beautiful scarf.
wait. i just saw your comment about a halloween display. what the heck?! summer isnt even over yet!! are the xmas displays going up in september?? haha.
Too fun! I used to have orange butterfly wings. They were part of a Halloween costume, but I wore them after the holiday just for fun anyway. :) Any hints about what your Halloween costume will be this year?
Same here, Sage. Why limit wings to costumes? I think they enhance many outfits.
Halloween... my favorite holiday. So hard to decide. I know what I'd like to do, but I'm in a relationship and, to nurture it, I accommodate the needs of my partner, which means: (1) not wearing a female costume every year (only every few years) and (2) coming up with two complementary costumes so she'll feel part of the fun. I'm toying with the characters from the movie, "Ted"; perhaps the teddy bear (my partner's costume) and his hot dinner date (mine).
Ally, I'm sitting in my daughter's hospital room, with the hit and miss WiFi that's kept me from keeping up with my fave blogger buddies this week, and have to say, you made me smile big time. You got some big magic :)
LOVE it. And LOVE you!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to you and Robin!

ReplyDeleteVery fun. I just bought my niece a set of wings at the dollar store.
I got mine at a thrift store for $8. It was an impulse buy. They were setting up their Halloween display.
