Emma is a blogger-friend of mine. She lives in Ohio and is 26 years old, the same age as me. :-)
Emma has a pair of cute grey pumps that are too big for her. So she offered them on her blog -- and called me out by name as a reader with ginormous feet. I responded to Emma's offer of The Big Shoes with eagerness and postage.
The pumps arrived this week and they're adorable. Knowing they came from a good friend makes them even more beautiful to me. Thanks, Emma!
I love grey, and those look so comfy!
ReplyDeleteI love them! So classic and they'll go with everything! Emma seems super sweet - will check out her blog!

Woo! There is nothing better than having a pair of cute shoes show up in your mailbox. Those are totally fabulous. I've recently become obsessed with grey toned shoes. As versatile, if not more than black.
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are lovely and accentuate your shapely legs. :) What a sweet thing for Emma to do.
ReplyDeleteGod damn, your legs!! They outshine the shoes my dear. ;) But the shoes are nice too.
ReplyDeleteFunny post!Lucky you ;)

Ooh! Nice pumps. They will go with so many things in your closet. I met Emma at a blogger meet up for The Limited's grand opening last year. She was really sweet :) Heather
ReplyDeleteAwww they look so good on you! Glad they fit :) But you broke the cardinal rule of girlfriends...you said I'm older than what I am, hahaha! I'm 24 :P Here's to us big-footed (is that a word?) gals!
ReplyDeleteAlso, hi Heather :)
Oops! Sorry, Emma. I misread that somewhere on your blog.

Love the gray suede! An absolutely perfect neutral. And the style of those pumps is so classic!
ReplyDeleteAlly, I thought of you and was tearing up as I read the cover story on this week's NY Times magazine:
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/12/magazine/whats-so-bad-about-a-boy-who-wants-to-wear-a-dress.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
The accompanying photo slide show, with boys at camp getting ready for a fashion and talent show, was achingly lovely. I so wish you had had a chance to do the same as a child. I'm glad you are doing it now, here, for your blog friends.
Thank you, Louise, for your compassion. I'm heading right over to that link.
Deleteblogger friends are the best and those shoes are sexy!! i love them on you!
ReplyDeleteLove, love the shoes. Holey moley, what I wouldn't give for legs that look like yours! By the way, your feet don't look big at all in the pumps.
ReplyDeleteOptical illusion!
DeleteThey are soo cute :) Whenever i see the word pumps i think of flats - anglo/american language differences!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Joni, you legs are so fabulous I hardly even noticed the groovy shoes! x
ReplyDeleteyou have such great legs, and i'm glad we share a passion in shoes ;)

You know the saying "Can't see the wood for the trees"??? Well I can't see the shoes for the legs!!! What size is considered big in America? Reason I am asking is that I wear the biggest size shoe that you readily guy in a store which is really frustrating as I need a half size bigger but we dont get half sized in SA.
ReplyDeleteMost women here are sizes 6-8. The largest size almost all stores carry is 10 and the selection in that size is limited. I'm a size-12 (or 13). I can squeeze into an 11. The only places I can find larger sizes is online, at places like Zappos.
DeleteCute shoes. I was gonna ask just how big those feet are, but then saw you answered in your previous comment. I'm a 10 and ALWAYS have a hard time finding them.
