Awesome! The view of the Statue of Liberty gives me tingles in my legs. It must have been a thrill to see it from that height. wow!! The street photos look to me like you may have been hovering a little too low for my comfort though. ;)
No, surprisingly not. The helicopter ride was soft and not scary at all. Even the takeoff and landings were smooth. The only unusual thing about it was how incredibly loud the engine is: they insist you wear headphones and, if you lift them off your ears for a second (which I did), the noise is super-loud.
Congratulations dear Ally and Robin, Hope your day was superb and that you have many more happy years together.
I now need to go to the ladies and reapply my mascara as I was laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face ... I absolutely love the card from the previous post ... and wow - how awesome to celebrate your anniversary by doing a helicopter tour ... was it as awesome as you'd hoped? It sure looks fabulous ... you do know that New York is on the top of bucket list of places to visit in the USA.
Hugs my sweet friend, spied the previous previous post as well.
No, it's completely different. The helicopter is small and doesn't need to move forward to stay up, so it doesn't have to travel fast. The ride is smooth and soft; even takeoffs and landings are smooth. The only bad thing about it is the noise: it's very loud. You need headphones to block out the noise.

ReplyDeleteDoes it feel the same as an airplane?!
