Sweets

I like a taste of something sweet but no more than that.  I can't, for example, stomach an entire cupcake.  It's just too much.

Here's a picture of a birthday cake that would be perfect for me...

Do you like sweets?  Have you ever seen a "cake pop"?  (It's a tiny sphere of cake on the end of a stick like a lollipop; Starbucks sells them.)

  2. Yes, I do have a taste for sweets. Try to satisfy it with fresh fruit, but I have a bar of dark chocolate in my bag...

  3. I am usually not a sweets lover. They are quite pretty, but I can't eat too much. I much prefer savory snacks. Although I will not talk about the 3 mini chocolate chip cookies I just ate. It's been one of those days. Haha.

Also I never have cake on my birthday. It's become an anti-tradition. I've had everything from cheesecakes, cookie "cakes", brownies, pizzas, pie. My favorite by far is lemon custard. Tangy and tart, not all that sweet at all!

  4. It really depends on the day, but I don't like to eat too much. One cupcake, or a couple of cookies, and I'm good for a day or two. But I love to bake! I just need other people to eat them for me, lol. I was actually thinking about starting a baking blog, or a combination baking/make up/hair/craft blog. I just need to think up some projects and figure out a way to write it that sounds appealing to read.

  5. I like sweets but am finding the longer I go without eating them the less I want them.

Cheese? Now that's a different story!

  6. I love sweets. Love them. I can eat a dozen cupcakes in one sitting. Not that I have. I don't think I have, anyway. But if I wanted to, I could.

I haven't tried cake pops. I know they're usually made with store bought cake mix and frosting, and that's not how I roll. I'm not a snob, but I don't care for all the added ingredients that aren't necessary.

  8. I used to have a really serious sweet tooth and have found since I've been older I am not as found of them as I used to be. My weakness is Oreos - anything with Oreos.

I haven't tried cake pops. I do enjoy baking homemade cupcakes though.

  9. I could live on sweets.
    Really. I love them all.
Cookies, cupcakes, cake, candy, chocolate, ice cream, pies...

  10. Wowo I envy you! I love sweets TOO much! I have had a sweet tooth since I was a kid and have been battling it my whole life. The good news is that now in my later 20s I don't like things that are as sweet. For example, I now prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate.

I had a cake pop at Starbucks once and didn't love it. I would like to make my own at some point though (post idea)

  11. yes, I've had cake pops at Starbucks. Cake pops are all the rage recently, but I had no idea the cake was mixed with a ton of frosting.
