Haha I love this commercial. I'm not gonna lie, I totally wish I had her closet though, filled with all those pink delicious dresses. Sigh. Nice to know she can be a bad ass. Is it just me or does this actress look exactly like Anne Hathaway???
I see why you like it, it's pretty cool! Though my feminist analytical mind detects a whiff of femme-phobia here (why is it better / more admirable that she rides a motorbike than that she wears pretty dresses and what looks like it could be fabulous dancing shoes?)... well at least her motorbike and gear are still partly pink, (or maybe that's worse? stuff that gets designated as "suitable for girls" by being painted pink is a huge pet peeve of mine...) though that would probably be because pink is the Telekom's signature color :) I hope I didn't ruin it for you...
No, you didn't. I have the same endless debates in my head. These media presentations can often be seen as good or bad, depending on how we look at them. Each of your points is valid.
Totally get why you love it, but I have to say, the first thing I thought of when I saw the commercial on TV was..."NOOOO!!! Don't stop donning the pink dresses!!" I don't use T-Mobile, but gosh, do I ever love the different dresses she wears. I want them all! I don't know if she's saying to hell with the pink dresses or if it's just showing two different sides of her. I hope it's the latter!
Oh Ally I totally get why you relate to this... i loved the part where she opens her closet....
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!! Totally hot.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty cool commercial. I always wish I had the guts to ride a motorcyle!
ReplyDeleteI like the commercial just not sure if it really relates to test driving a phone but definitely a cool ad.
ReplyDeleteDaphne.
Gosh for that closet, I'd take back every bad thing I said I about pink. The motorcycle is pretty awesome too.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! So are black and pink motorcycle leathers next on your shopping list?
ReplyDeleteOh, I hadn't seen that. That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteI had to watch it again. Funny, I still can't tell you what the product is. A phone or a network? Or both? Who cares? I love the ad, too!
ReplyDeleteWait, that was about 4G? I was waiting to find out where I could buy that motorcycle. haha.
ReplyDeleteThat was pure sex. Hot commercial.
xo,
Tracy
