Aww the little chipmunk is so cuuutee!!! And the ducks. And the Turkey(?) haha, I love animals. I still think squirrels are cute, even if they eat everything in my garden.
Wowwwwww i love that picture of the bird in her hand ! I appreciate nature more and more as the years go by. It's great that you are taking advantage of the good weather. And you are going to laugh at this... i didn't know SAG harbour was a place, to me it was always a clothes brand =)
Ohwow! I recognized most of them. That cardinal is incredibly beautiful. As a January-born person, I consider them my favorite song birds (as for birds-of-prey that's a whole other story).
Extraordinary photos, Ally! We have chipmunks come on our patio sometimes (I'm pretty sure just to tease the dog). I also think female cardinals are so lovely, even prettier than their flashier mates.
Well I can identify chipmunk, squirrel and duck but that's about it! Maybe I need to be more tuned in with nature! LOVE the first photo- just stunning!
Amazing photos. Wow, you caught all these in one outing!? That is pretty cool. I feel my son can identify most of them. I will have to quiz him tomorrow and see his answers. Daphne.

ReplyDeleteLokks like it was a nice day to be outside. Here's the bird ID list. The only ones I am not sure on are the ducks.
ReplyDeleteMale Cardinal, Mallard Duck, Female Cardinal, Grey Squirrel, Chickadee, Female Cardinal, Mallard Duck, Turkey, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and Chipmunk.
Impressive!
Deletecardinal, mallard duck, squirrel, chipmunk? Did i get a few?
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask how your friend got the Chickadee to eat from her hand?
ReplyDeleteSunflower seeds. Most visitors carry them so the birds are used to them and fly in without fear.
DeleteWow! Lots of pretty birds that I have no idea as to what they are. I did recognize a duck, chipmunk, squirrel and I think turkey? Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI love the Cardinal. Sadly we don't have them in germany, so I' always happy when I see pictures :)
