Things I Saw Today

After sunset tonight, I went walking around the neighborhood.  Despite the frigid cold, the world was awash with vibrant visual imagery.  I had a point-and-shoot camera which, despite its low tech, captured these photos.

  1. Lovely, eerie photos! A point and shoot can take amazing photos in the hands of someone with a good eye. :)

  2. Mmm! The moon was incredible tonight. It almost looked like it was sinking out of the sky it was so heavy despite its skinny crescent shape.

  4. The moon on my side of the earth looked just like your photo when we went out last night. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous photos.

  5. What a great sense of atmosphere and subtly mystery. Nighttime really takes on a whole new persona during the winter, when its cloaked not only in darkness, but another layer under which to hide, via the snow and ice. These shots drive that point home and were really fun to see.

  6. Cool pics. I like the otherworldly treatment. It makes them moody.
