Legs

I believe a woman's legs are the pinnacle of female beauty.  Their shapely contours, their smooth surface... they are a delight to behold.  Nature made women pretty and everyone can appreciate that.

Fortunately, our legs are the last thing to go.  With a paucity of attractive assets, my legs are my best feature.  That's why I display them so often.  Go with your strength, I believe.

I just bought a pair of shoes specifically to NOT be looked at.  I bought nude pumps hoping they'd disappear when people look at me.  I want them to function as extensions of my legs without calling attention to themselves.

The pumps are an inexpensive purchase from Payless.  Occasionally that store has size-12 shoes, so I pop in every so often with the hope of finding something.

I wore these shoes today with an outfit that isn't shown in the pictures.  To avoid posting too many photos, I'll show you the clothes tomorrow.  In the meantime, here are my legs.

Do you like your legs?  How do you present them?  In heels?  With colored or patterned tights?

  1. Last to go? I swear mine are already going -- pigment issues, bruises, scratches. Ugh. But yours are F-I-N-E (can you picture me channeling a soul sista with some snaps?)

  2. I have these shoes! They are very comfortable. My legs are not the typical "nice" legs, but I quite like them. They are thick, but curvy. I prefer how they look in hose or nude fishnets, but I don't wear hose anymore, so fishnets it is!

    1. I get so excited when I hear we share clothes. It makes me feel closer to being a "real" girl. Fishnets are fun.

  3. I like mine best in heels ... is gives them great shape but they're not fine no more .. crossing legs is not s good thing

  4. You have very shapely pins! I do like my legs. It's weird though, I'm not as comfortable in skirts/dresses as in pants.

  5. I object to saying you have a paucity of assets!

    1. Also since I use my genetically gifted large legs to kick things and sit around in low stances for a hobby, I tend to cover them with a variety of fabrics. They already think they own the place and they never fit properly in trousers that fit at the waist.

    2. Thanks, Aya. You're good for my ego.

  6. Damn, you have great legs, Ally! I like my legs' strength - I like when they are muscly from the gym or Ultimate, when I can see definition in my calves. My husband is a "leg man" and he thinks they are excellent, hee. I nearly always wear skirts, as you know, although the shorter ones are no longer friendly with my thighs.

  7. Now if I had legs that looked like yours I would do everything to show them off however since they are on the other side of the scale to yours I mostly wear trousers to hide them and then the shoes become the highlight at the end of the legs! LOL!!!

  8. My legs are not my best feature. I can't stand my bare legs (poses a problem in summer) and the only way to show them off best is to wear tights. I can't live without tights, they are magic garments. I also can't wear heels very well so I tend to cover up my legs to make it simpler

    1. I agree -- tights are magic. Perfect word for them.

  9. ally - your legs are legend! great idea to set them in the spotlight with this pumps!
funnily i have a body type like you (to much testosterone?) but with boobs. too much boobs for my taste. so i try to embrace my legs too - but not with short skirts - they are not good for the proportion of my top heavy frame. i use shoes and if i wear hosery, then special one like colors, lace etc. usually i go bare legged - from april to october of cause. at the moment i cover my pins with thick knitted wool stockings or leggings.....

  10. You really do have great legs! Mine, on the other hand, are large and lack any grace or elegance. I never go bare! They are pretty good at taking me places though, and seem to have an endurance that surprises me often. So while they aren't my most beautiful asset they are rather wonderful things and I'm very grateful for them :)

    1. I neglected to mention the function legs provide. When they work properly, they're wonderful ways to move around. I admire people (men and women) who strengthen their legs with walking, hiking and exercise.

  11. nude shoes help to elongate the leg, so an excellent purchase. not like you need help there!

  12. I love nude heels since they really do make legs look longer! A definite must for someone as petite as me :)

  14. I want some heels like this. Anything that'll make my legs look longer and the heel looks like I might actually be able to walk in it.

My legs are too muscular, I call them my man legs : )

You definately scored the lady legs.

  15. When I was younger a had some killer knock out legs... eh, not so much any more thanks to the weight gain. But if I were a dude I think women's legs more than anything would totally be my weakness.

  16. You really do have the most beautiful, shapely legs. I'm jealous. I have climber's calves, i.e., thick muscles. They're shapely, yes, but sometimes too thick for skinny jeans! I need help peeling them off sometimes, haha. I don't usually wear heels, out of comfort decisions, but when I do they are rockin' :)

  17. Timelessly classic, beautiful shoes. There are few outfits around that you couldn't easy partner those becoming pumps with.

  18. You have incredible legs!

Personally, I've always felt my legs were my worst feature. I admire thick curvy legs and hips. Women in my family always have thin legs no matter where else we gain weight. Most people would like that, but I've always wished for curvier calves and less bony ankles!!

Ah well, the grass is always greener!

  19. I love bright, eye catching heels. The higher the heel the better - legs just look better when worn with high heels.

  20. As i have said before, i think you have really nice legs.
    If i had to give mine a number from 1 to 10, i'd give them a 6.

  21. I love the shoes and your legs! My legs are okay, but they are a bit thick and muscular for my liking. There's not much I can do about that. My ankles are a bit thick, as in the way the bones and tendons are structured, not as in fat. I wish I had nice delicate ankles.

  22. as a guy, i admit i am a legman. i love seeing a great pair of legs! i especially love seeing pampered legs in hosiery and heels and i also prefer to see a gal in a skirt or dress to show off those lovely gams! i'm not picky! i feel all gals have lovely legs! including you ally!

  23. You do have lovely legs, but they are far from your only asset! Enjoy the fact that you are tall and have legs for miles--people will always think "Rockettes" when they see them!
