I saw the cutest thing yesterday. I was walking through the parking lot of a local court and saw eyelashes on a car. Really!
Actually, I posted about this a year ago but never saw them in person. They were super-cute.
Would you "wear" these? They sell them here.
ha ha ha..so cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! But sadly my car is a boy :)
ReplyDeletethey're adorable! i don't drive, though. maybe i would if i did!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mini, my car is a boy too :)
ReplyDeleteCute though, so pretty
Hahah I'm not into it. I hate when people put reindeer antlers on their cars at Christmas or stickers or anything aha. I decorate the inside of my car a bit with air fresheners and my graduation tassles hanging in the rearview mirror. I just can't get into any other sort of car decorations though aha.
ReplyDeleteI actually wanted to buy these for my Beetle (when i had it) but i got rid of the car so i forgot about the lashes.
ReplyDeleteI think this fits certain cars, i drive a Honda now and i think it would be ridiculous with my car.
My car is also a "boy" named Iggy. (With black and pink seat covers. Thankfully, my dad and boyfriend are cool with sitting in a seat covered in hearts.) I love the lashes, though!
ReplyDelete(Now that I think about it, everything I've ever owned is "male." My favorite stuffed animals were almost all male. My oboes have male names (Bob, Frodo, and I actually haven't named the newest one). Weird!)

Eee! I love old fashioned Beetles. I almost inherited my grandfather's '67 one, but he sold it for parts after it died.
ReplyDeleteI am weird and do not usually attach gender to my inanimate objects. *shrug* Possibly because I am not a car person, but I don't have names for my laptop, Nook, phone, etc. (The desktop however is the Watermelon for being pink, green, and black).
i doubt they'd look as cute on my minivan, but i do think they're adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen these in person, but I have read so much about them online. I really want to put them on my car, but it is enough of a trainwreck already. Mr. A doesn't want me to make it look even worse.

One of the women in my yoga class has a Mini Cooper with eyelashes on it. It is so cute! I have a PT Cruiser and have always wanted the woody kit for it. I love the old Woody wagons.
ReplyDeleteI remember your post about this actually! So adorable- I think you need the right car to pull it off (would look pretty silly on my Audi!) Thanks for your super sweet comment- you're not lazy you're a biker! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I need those in my life. That is the cutest thing I've seen in a while, other than the Aussie puppy I passed by on my bike ride the other day. So yeah, pretty freakin' cute.
ReplyDeleteMay the force be with you.
Emily
I believe this is the ONLY car they go with. Any other car wouldn't work ... My car is a Boy too. I think boys treat their cars as girls and vice-versa.

If I had the right car, absolutely! Do you think they'd work on a motorcycle? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt really only goes with minis or beetles, lol. I think they're cute...several cars here wear them!
ReplyDeleteI have on my car and my Harley, black car eyelashes on my bike and pink on my car from www.eyelashesforcars.co.za
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking back to carlashes.com! So many fakes out there :P
ReplyDeletewww.carlashes.com for anyone interested.
Aww! That so cute! The famous movie car Herby will definitely fall in love with that cute Volkswagen! I’d love to have those chic lashes on my car too. Thanks for sharing the idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is one adorable car! The lashes definitely make the headlights look like real eyes. It seems like the car is really alive. This proves that it does not hurt to add some features to make your auto look more beautiful! =)
ReplyDeleteYes, it’s totally cute! But you know car-lashes aren’t merely a superficial whim. I think putting any kind of accessory on your car is like giving it a touch of your own personality. :D When you give your car something that you personally chose, you make it your own – that’s what car-lashes do. :D
