Toronto Outfits

One of the fun things we did up in Toronto was play dress-up. After dinner Saturday night, we retired to Suzanne's comfortable house where we tried on clothes, laughed and took pictures. Suzanne, being naturally bossy, took the helm as Woman In Charge (WIC). The WIC applied my makeup -- marvelously! -- and did photography for both Patti and me. Suzanne has good photographic equipment, interestiong picture-backgrounds and superb skills.

Against my wishes, the WIC coaxed me into wearing clothes I didn't think would flatter me. I was wrong. She was right. I'm honest enough to concede this.

I wore three outfits. Here's the first. Thoughts?

  6. Killer dress, and your hair/make-up are excellent. This dress works because it doesn't fight with the shape of your body (which I know is straight up and down). The straight cut actually adds and accentuates your curves.

What a wonderful treat! I would totally be the WIC if I got my hands on you! You know I'm a bossy one, hee hee.

  7. This is such a nice color on your skin and like Sheila says, that dress totally works. I am SO happy you were able to play dress up and BTW the make up is really really good.

  8. This was such a great new experience for me.

Yes, I know I was a little bit bossy...ha ha! But I think the results speak for themselves.

We all have preconceived ideas about what will "work" on us and what won't. 50% of the time we are wrong. Just proof that one always needs to try on items to give them a chance.

I'm glad you like the photos. I think they turned out great considering all of it was a first for me too.

    bisous

  10. OH SUCH FUN. I remember our clothes swap in the hotel in Vancouver. And I remember trying on Anja's clothes in The Netherlands with Sylvia, Suzanne and Anja. Which was less fun for me (I thought, or I was a spoil-sport) as I didn't like the clothes on me.
You however, look very good in this dress.
