I'm warning you now because Friday is April Fool's Day and I might try to fool you. You may think I'm giving away the surprise by warning you in advance but, trust me, it doesn't. Every year, I play a crazy joke on my friends and it always fools them -- even when they are expecting something from me.

The key, I've discovered, isn't what you say but how you say it. I convince people of outlandish things by the plausible way I present information.
Success is fooling people into believing something ridiculous. Like that I just learned I'm pregnant.
Don't say I didn't warn you!!

ReplyDeleteI loved April Fool's Day when I was a Kid. My Sister and I always tried to prank each other. But we always knew that the other one wants to try it, haha.

ReplyDeleteOver here we spend the day, figuring out what every newspaper have put in that is fake. Apart from that it is mostly the kids who play tricks. My daughter has been planning a trick on her father for a year now, so she almost cant wait.

Haha, I can't wait to see what prank you'll do on Friday. I am a terrible lier which is why no one believes me if I try a prank on first of April. But I did manage to fool my dad once, I told him my flight had been cancelled from London and he believed me. And a couple of hours later he remembered what day it was. But that's about it, haha.

ReplyDeleteEek. I hate April Fool's Day! I'm pretty gullible, so I oftentimes believe the prank, and I'm an even worse liar, so I can't play a prank on anyone to save my life. That being said, I'm curious to see what you come up with...

ReplyDeleteI'm actually really looking forward to April fool's day now. I have only played a prank on somebody once in my life. But the friend could not take the joke, so I guess my prank was successful but it was on the wrong person. :)
