Super Moon

The moon right now is the closest it's been for the past 18 years.  So, when a full moon appeared last night, it was HUGE!  I saw it and NASA was correct -- it looked 30 percent bigger than usual. 

Did you see it?  If not, go outdoors tonight and take a peek.  It'll hit your eye like a big pizza pie...

    Wow, that is amazing. Must stick my head out of the window and have a look. Lets hope it doesn't keep getting closer or we're all in trouble. Or is that what is supposed to happen next year. ;-)

    That's a great pic. I saw it. At 5:30 AM Saturday morning (dogs' idea, not mine). I was wondering why it was so extraordinarily bright.

    Did you take this picture? I was out on our deck at 2 a.m., snappy away in my nightgown, but the pictures aren't all that impressive somehow. The moon itself WAS impressive.
