I've never had occasion to talk about shoes before, but I bought a pair of cork wedges from Payless this week and can't believe how comfortable they are. I've been wearing them non-stop. From the very first moment, they felt soft and sensuous. They actually feel like socks instead of shoes. I recommend these for their exceptional comfort -- the growing trendiness of wedges is an added bonus.
The shoes were only $19 and come in several colors. Would you wear these?
I probably wouldn't because my feet are gnarly but they are pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! That's actually my favourite type of summer shoes, for the same reasons. They are feminine, easy to walk with and comfortable and more importantly they are cheap!! I already have some in white, black and red! Have a nice day dear!
ReplyDeleteOh I would! These are so cute and I wear shoes like that almost all summer long. But not in black I'm a fan of bright colors.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I love peep-toes and I love wedges, I think they are the best shoe for showing off ankles. You can't wrong with this style in Summer; it goes beautifully with casual dresses and more structured clothing alike. They were an excellent buy! I'm looking forward to see how you will style them over the coming months.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! I didn't really like wedges before but they are really starting to grow on me. They are very comfortable and they look good on your feet. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteI'll have a pair in every colour available please.
ReplyDeleteIll have to take a trip to payles!!! I'm loving wedges and they are so comfy.
ReplyDeleteLike Cammie, I didn't used to like wedges but their styles have gotten better and now they're poised for real fashion fame. The cork material helps.
ReplyDeleteBaxter, be careful what you wish for! I bought these with a specific outfit in mind when I was shopping at the mall. It's a wild affair centered on a bright pink mini-dress from Hot Topics. I hope to wear and photograph it later this week.
I agree with all of you preferring bright colors. The sad reality of my life is that while the store carries 4-5 nice colors, they only had one pair in my size (12) and they were black. In fact, I felt lucky to get even those since the selection of size-12 shoes was extremely limited. It always is. *sigh*
Huh! Yeah, I think I would wear these! Especially to work, since they're in between what I normally wear (Converse) and what I'd like to wear if they were comfortable enough (giant wedges or heels).
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go check these out...too bad the Payless here is a little shady. Oh well, I'll deal with it!
I would definitely wear these! I love wedges for their comfort. Those would look great with a summer dress!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for your comment on my post today. You have terrific insight and it was so great hearing your opinion on the matter. I appreciate it!
Yes, I'd wear these :)
ReplyDeleteI think of you whenever I'm out thrifting and I see large sizes in ladies' shoes ("hmmm, I bet Ralph would like these"). :)
ReplyDeleteI would wear these, but probably wouldn't buy them. My shoe wardrobe is such that I have to limit myself to unique styles and colours - I have to be very picky, so that I don't end up with duplicates of what I already have.
I might have to go and grab a pair of these. I like them a lot and need something like this to go with a dress for an upcoming party! And I can never find shoes that are comfortable, so I hope my store has them!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have that check that out. I would love a pair in red or yellow.
ReplyDeleteNo More Sweatpants
I Really like these ! They would be perfect for days where you have to do a lot of walking but still want to look chic.
ReplyDeleteI have weak ankles and poor coordination, so wearing heels just isn't something I've ever been able to master. Those do look comfy, though.
ReplyDeleteRats! I was just in a Payless last weekend and was disappointed; I didn't see ANYthing this cute! But methinks I'll be going to another one tomorrow after seeing these cuties! I love wedges but really need a pair that is also comfortable, and these fit the bill. Even better if they don't require any breaking in, which shoes like that normally do. Thanks for sharing!
