I like the mustard idea! I think I would wear a T-shirt with it, to mix it up. Maybe a cute top and some suspenders? Or a button-up and a tie? Maybe a plain top and a statement necklace? The possibilities are endless :)
*PS-Thanks for the awesome card!!! Kyle loves snoopy, we both love it :D :D
I always forget to answer your questions by the time I finish reading your posts, sorry Ralp!
RE: your comment, Kyle does not read my blog because is is usually around for whatever I am talking about. Unless it is a post where I talk about something random, like nicknames, or nationality, then he will read it. We share a computer so he usually does not have time to read it, it's okay though. Also, yes, we have been engaged for 3 years. We have been dating since I was 15, so everytime we talked about getting engaged, we just felt too young. Then, Kyle just asked me and I knew we would get married someday. We are both in school full time and work full time so we never have time to plan it and now we are looking for a house so that takes up all the time we have left. The plan is after we get a house, and we are settled (aka fix whatever is broken in said house) we will get married.
Thank you, Sara, for the answers. I appreciate the personal information because I like learning more about you and your life. I want us to become closer friends.
Thanks, Sheila and Isabel, for the feedback and support. You guys rock!
I think both of these outfits are fun and bold (a little Kate Spade, if you will). Since the skirt is so short, a long cardigan would be cute with a long necklace.
Okay, this is going to shock you that I'm commenting, but I want to be interested in your fashion interests. When I first looked at the picture, I thought that either a long, black cardigan with a crisp, white blouse would look classic. Or a sharp black blazer would look good. But I'm really conservative, so take that into account. Love that skirt. Love, Robin
Maybe a mustard cardigan, plain black t-shirt underneath and a long dangly necklace.
ReplyDeleteBut I may be a smidgen biased because I loooove mustard colours!
I love mustard! With a black-tee and necklace, it would look great. Thanks for the idea, Poppy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely skirt! How about the simple white top tucked into it and a stylish black blazer type jacket to finish things off? Love that.
ReplyDeleteNice idea, Emma. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking maybe a chunky, long line cardigan in a dark colour to mix up the proportions a little?
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see that everyone has such different suggestions, love it!
Ditto Stel!
ReplyDeleteLove Poppy's idea- mustard would be such an unexpected color. The bright pink is a bit overwhelming with that bold patterned skirt.

Sorry for leaving a book on your page :P
I love it with the colour! Black and white is a neutral pattern, so don't be afraid to mix in some colour with it!
ReplyDeletei love the way you styled it
