Ah...the ever elusive snow goose. On any other given year I'd have a flock of those in my backyard. I'm not unhappy they haven't made it here this year.
Love the icicle photo - that's stunning! Are you sure it's a snow goose...? Looks like Nessie to me (loch ness monster) or maybe a dragon covered in snow!
My brother has been shovelling snow for days.... I can only imagine. I could have sworn that second one was a snow dinosaur ... AND the icicle picture is really good!
Beuatiful! Very artistic, and so much better than my shots taken my by ever ready camera phone! Love the snow Goose! I am currently listening to a book about a child made of created of snow, very enchanting! xx, Elle http://www.theellediaries.com/
Definitely! Or perhaps what the Loch Ness Monster would look like if got hit by a sudden blizzard.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're staying warm and having a great tail end of January, Ally.

Amazing pictures. I can't imagine what it would be like to live in a location where it snows.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures! I've been thinking of you out there! We get big storms here every so many years too, but it's been awhile. Just light snow for us!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Ally! I have only seen icicles like that in Germany.

The icicle looks really cool. I hope you are staying warm.
ReplyDeleteYou ever had snow goose soup? Hee hee. It's starting to get into the 60s here. This weather is absolutely bizarre!
