We've just had our fourth snowstorm since Christmas. Eight to ten inches this time around! It's beginning to feel like 2015 all over again. Last year was brutal. (Nova Scotia, Canada)
I can imagine! I didn't know you live in NS, Jenny. I visited there a decade ago and rode my motorcycle around the Cabot Trail. Beautiful scenery and friendly people.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, you look cold! There was what could either be snow OR frost on the wall this morning but that was all when I left the house at 10am!
I saw it too, and it was a glorious spectacle! I saw it from 8 flights up so I couldn't see it accumulate, but it was so lovely to see: big fat, bleach-white flakes against an teal sky! love these shots, Ally! Hurrah, and Brrr. xx, Elle http://www.theellediaries.com/
Three cheers for your first snow! We've been getting a heavy handed serving of flakes for weeks now (which is quite common on this side of the 49th), including even more then past weekend.
On my side of the world it hardly ever snows ... In my 53 years of living in South Africa I have experienced snow in Johannesburg ... probably 3 times and then once in Clarens ~ where it does snow occasionally.
My BEST experience of snow was when I visited Wendy in Germany for Christmas and we had a white Christmas ... picture perfect!!!
We had a light dusting of snow Saturday night in London. Further up North they were able to build snowmen but down here they'd have been miniscule snowmen!
No snow here ;-) Mind you, the only month that hasn't had frost in Canberra is February (our hottest month) Are you still on your motorcycle? I know you said you would! Brrr! Xo Jazzy Jack
Not much snow to speak of here yet but I'm hopeful! Drove home through snow fall on Saturday night (200 miles worth!) but by the time I got home there was nothing. Boo!
Awww, such beautiful photos of your first snow of the season! It appears we may be seeing a lot more of it soon :) I'm kind of oddly excited about it... how about you?
I'm FIRST!! Does that mean I love you most??? It's still getting up in the 50s here. I don't see snow coming any time soon. *pout*

DeleteThe Trail is beautiful - you picked a good place to see!

ReplyDeleteNo snow down here, but it is grey and dreary and oh so cold.
ReplyDeleteGot your card. I think it's the coolest birthday card ever.
Yay! Cool card for a cool kid.
DeleteCrap! I hope that isn't coming my way!
ReplyDeleteWe have had some snow this year but it is all gone. Hooray! I don't think I'll be lucky enough to avoid it all winter though.
I don't miss it and I don't miss shovelling it.
bisous

We had a very short, very light snow flurry today in VA. It was our first snow of the season and I was so excited to see it. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's snowing here as well, first snow ! But I wish I was in NY :-) Kisses

It was snowing a couple of days ago. But it was the worst two weeks ago, when we had lots of snow. And frost!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, snow it's fun!
I have been ankle deep in snow for the past two weeks. I'm ready to pack up and move to Tahiti, or anywhere where they've never seen snow...

ReplyDeleteLove the photo of your name on the windscreen!

Brr! There's snow by me, too. I'm kind of missing the mild winter we were having.
ReplyDeleteWe rarely get snow here - not even a flake so far this winter!
ReplyDeleteLOL.
ReplyDelete:)
We had loads of snow here in the past few weeks and it's freezing cold...not my cup of tea!

ReplyDeleteWe've had a few flurries but no big snowfall yet. We are supposed to get one soon.
ReplyDeleteAwww, such beautiful photos of your first snow of the season! It appears we may be seeing a lot more of it soon :) I'm kind of oddly excited about it... how about you?
ReplyDeleteSure. Now that we're in the heart of winter, I expect and like snow. Having four seasons is nice.
DeleteLucky! We only get snow here once every 10-15 years lol. If I wanna see snow, I have to drive about 3 hours to see it.

We won't get snow and I miss New York's winter it was beautiful with the snow and the happy locals :)
