Megan lives in Florida and her blog is one of the best around. She has a sophisticated sense of style and regularly posts interesting outfits. Megan has connections to the fashion industry and hopes to design clothes in the future. Her knowledge of fashion is deep.
We met at an outdoor fashion show sponsored by Old Navy which showcased their colored skinny jeans. Megan was one of the runway models. The picture on the right is Megan walking the runway. There's another picture of her below, along with some of the other non-professional models at the show. The event took place in Bryant Park and was fun to watch.
Afterward, we enjoyed a sumptious meal at one of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan (Seven). During dinner, Megan told me about her wonderful husband and their two young boys. She described her hopes and dreams for a career in fashion and the exciting time she had this week. Megan was charming and her company was endlessly entertaining.
We had a wonderful blogger meetup. I think I've made a new friend!
ive never met a blogger friend i real life. i think id be a bit nervous about it! lol
ReplyDeleteDoing this is like riding a motorcycle -- it's scary at first, but then you quickly relax when you intuitively realize that the person wants to like you. Once you're relaxed, you just have fun!
DeleteIt was such an honor to meet with you, you are def. a new friend!
ReplyDeletexoxox.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you guys met up! I didn't get a chance to meet Megan or you on this short trip. Definitely next time! :)

Next time, for sure. Most people visiting NYC have very limited time, so I respect that and am thrilled if they can squeeze me in. I know they can't always and that's fine, too.
DeleteI thought we met at Lucky Fabb Tanvi! - It wasn't long enough.
DeleteAlly, I am so excited by all your blogger meetups! I think it's clear that you have many, many friends, and that you're just as nice in person as you are on your blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynne. Making friends is one of my biggest goals. I enjoy meeting new people and deepening my existing relationships is a joy.
DeleteYou're so lucky to have met so many wonderful bloggers in person. I've loved meeting you online, but think it'd be just fab to hang out in person!
