Kickin' It
I realized today that most of my outfits are fancy and formal. I want a change of pace so, tonight, I tried something playful. I took casual clothes and dressed them up as fun as I could. Here's the result.
Oh, and I saw an ad in Glamour showing a woman wearing two different shades of lipstick. Its whimsy appealed to me, so tonight I wore fuscia surrounded by orange. What do you think? Would you do this?

ReplyDeleteYou really look like you're having fun! I love the idea with using two different lipsticks. I occasionally will use a dark liptint (burt's bees tinted chapstick) on my top lip and just clear on my bottom.

ReplyDeleteMy only suggestion would be to layer a long black spaghetti-strap top under that sheer top, as it's a bit see-thru. Having a black top on underneath will really bring out the pink/black-gray contrast!
P.S. Where'd you get the shoes? I MUST KNOW! :P

ReplyDeleteThe necklace is actually two necklaces: one is an ordinary string of pearls and the second is a bunch of black feathers. I wanted volume and neither was enough alone. After experimenting, I saw they go well together.
