We got our first snow-storm in two years. About 3 inches where I live (Long Island, NY). Here's what happened...
[Putting on sweats]
"You're not going outside to shovel snow, are you?!
"Why yes. Yes, I am."
Twenty years of living with me and Robin still doesn't know the person she married.
Update: Successfully shoveled our walkways and driveway. Also accidentally shoveled part of our neighbor's property. Lost my bearings at one point.
I hope you stayed warm!
ReplyDeleteWe got almost double our annual snowfall in two days! Over 8 inches in some areas. I got out and cleared my car and helped with my dad's. Not sure if things will be clear enough for us to actually leave tomorrow but at least it won't melt/refreeze.
Haha! Glad you survived!

It's snowing as I type this! We've had a couple of inches, and gads, you'd think it was a couple of feet - schools are closed! Cars are abandoned! Don't go out! (it's not even windy!). I'm looking forward to my walk to work! Magic! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's fun to walk in snow-covered streets. Life seems different then.
DeleteWell done for your diligent sticking to form!!! Glad you only became unstuck once! We've not had any snow in Essex yet though it's been cold enough! Have been singing songs and listening to music about snow with the kids though!
ReplyDeleteThat's nice. I hope you enjoy Winter, Kezzie. We're getting a second snowstorm today so I can refine my shoveling skills. :)
DeleteI live in the PNW, in a part where we only get a few inches of snow per year. Last week we got 8 inches, followed by an ice storm and NO ONE was prepared and everything pretty much shut down all week. We only have one plow lol
ReplyDeleteHaving grown up in New England and living in upstate NY - we had de-icer and a shovel. My driveway was clean. Not that we could go anywhere but still lol Maybe we inspired others to get a shovel.
