Back To The Past

They're back!

The Seventies are back! Coming into fashion are big flowers, denim, bell bottoms and fringe. The clothes of my youth. If I dig deep enough into the basement I'm sure I'll find outfits that are newly-fashionable.

Is it a coincidence that Jimmy Carter is still alive? We're back, baby!

  1. I've been back in the 70s for years already! 70s vintage fashion has been spiking for a while now. Can't wait to see what you dig up from your basement. I'm sure there are some treasures down there waiting to be worn again.

    1. We all have a special decade when we grew like a weed. The Sevenies were mine. I startedthem at age 12 and ended at 23 years old.

  2. I was 3 to 12 during the 70s, but I do remember them (especially the clothes) well! They've been trending since the 90s! Really! Look at DeeLite ("Groove is in the Heart") for proof. That decade was so iconic, I don't think it will ever go out of style.

    1. I agree. Beyond my personal experience then, the decade was special for its innovation and energy.

    1. We must then be about the same age. Glad you see the time as special as I do. It really was.

  4. I grow up in the nineties, but I always loved the edginess of the seventies and eighties. I used to make my mom turn every pair of jeans into palazzo or flares. Every decade has its charms. I also love the beauty of the sixties and the fifties.
