Great pictures! I love motorcycles. My boyfriend would be so hot on a big black bike but, sadly, he doesn't agree. If I make it to your area I'd love to go for a ride!
Love the pictures - obviously I stand up on mine all the time :)
When we did our tour of the 'Wild West' in the summer, a group tour, I was the only lady rider - all the other women went pillion. I was known as the cool one though so I'll take that!!
What a great book, those pics are great! I'm a closet bike lover--a few ex-boyfriends had bikes & I always loved riding. If I lived closer l'd totally take you up on that offer! :)
I'm planning to visit you one day and HOPE to get a ride on your motorbike!! That would be fantastic. I love the old photos- reminds me of my grandmother who rode with my grandpa and she looked so exotic and movie-star-ish. By the way, I love the Dexter badge from one of your past posts. I LOVE DEXTER :) Happy New Year to you.. miss you as I haven't been online much over the holidays. talk soon J
Ooooh, Ally, thank you so much for the wonderful sneak peek inside this awesome read. I hadn't actually seen a copy of this book in person myself, so I was taking a stab based on reviews and my gut instinct that you'd like it and that it would be teaming with lots of lovely images of vintage motorcycle riding ladies. I'm delighted to know that it is and that you're enjoying it.
I hope it brings you happiness and inspiration for countless years to come!
Gorgeous photos. Would take absolutely no convincing to get me on the back of your motorcycle ... LOVE riding on the back of a bike only with an experienced and responsible person up front.
These are fantastic! I'm especially partial to that badass in leather on the BSA.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you would be an excellent pilot but being a passenger is too scary!

Happy New Year, Jodi! Great to hear from you. I saw every episode of "Dexter" and loved the show.
Deleteyou don't have to ask me twice!
ReplyDeleteAll you have to do is ask. My dad had a motorcycle when I was a kid and I vividly remember riding up and down the dirt road by our house with him.
ReplyDeleteLisa.

I'd go on the back of your bike if you promised not to move it! I'm not one for speed at all, I like my comfort zone far too much!
