  6. Gorgeous photos. You need to come to Hawaii and take a nature walk sometime ... ;) I think the first one is my favorite - just because I love Andersen's "The Ugly Duckling" so much. And the second-to-last one looks like a cat to me!

  10. How immensely lovely that a swan crossed your path. They're one of my all-time favourite birds. We used to have quite a few in the Okanagan (to the point where a lake in the town of Vernon is even called Swan Lake), but in recent years, I have't seen nearly as many as when I was a child. Two in the last year, to be exact. I hope I'm able to take a picture of the next one(s) that cross my path, too.
