Tonight, fatigued from work, I refreshed myself with a walk through the mall. After a stiff cup of Starbucks coffee, I wandered into my favorite store, Anthropologie. It sells both (pretty) clothes and (stylish) housewares. It is a nice store.
For fun, I browsed the sale racks. I spotted two fabulous items -- a deer-print top and a whirly-patterned skirt. Both appeal to me -- and both are on sale ($19 each). They aren't my size but, hey, I'm used to dealing with that obstacle.
What do you think? Do you ever find stuff by accident?
LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT DEER TOP!
ReplyDeleteUsually my favorite items are found when I am not looking and completely by accident. This deer top is so fun and adorable! $19 for each piece is a steal from Anthro. That place is great, but I never go in there because my pocket book would hate me :) Heather
ReplyDeleteAnthro is usually so pricey I don't even look! Very cute top!
ReplyDeleteBecky :)
That deer top is seriously amazing, and so is the skirt, and I love the mixture of patterns. I have to agree with Heather, Anthropologie is great (and we actually have one here), it just doesn't agree with my budget. Maybe I can actually walk in a store when I have a better job!
ReplyDeleteThe deer print top is very unique and pairs nicely with your skirt. I'm always finding pieces by accident, but usually at estate sales.
ReplyDeleteThat top is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love both your finds, especially that top, I love all the animal prints that are out now. I had an accidental find this week actually. I was in Sports Division with my friend who was buying her son some trainers, I wasn't expecting to see a single thing because sportswear just isn't my style, but I found some cute flowery Chinese style canvas shoes in the sale for £4.00 so I was very happy. Love your necklace too by the way. xx
ReplyDeleteThat top is so fun!! I need something like that to shake up my conservative wardrobe... Anthro has neat stuff, especially the funky house stuff- mugs, rugs, etc...
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by!! ox J
I just love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteI always find stuff by accident. I never find anything when I'm looking for it. So I rarely look for something because then something good comes my way
ReplyDeletelove the deer print! I love a good sale as well
ReplyDeletehey, by the way,why do you think that's not your size? looks a bit fit.
How sweet is this top! I do like animal prints, both the furry kind and the arty kind.
ReplyDeleteYes! I love the top! I like Anthropologie, but I only buy it when I'm lucky to find it at the thrift store! And yes, I find things by accident too sometimes, sometimes my best luck shopping is when I'm not specifically looking for something!
ReplyDeleteyou look gorgeous! Xo Megan, www.TfDiaries.com
ReplyDeleteI love it Ally! Deer print is so cute! AND the fact that it is on a white top makes it feel more summery! :) Anthropology is my FAVORITE store! I only buy things from the clearance rack, I have to, Kyle has a heart-attack whenever I go in that store as is. You have excellent taste my friend! But you already knew that ;)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant top! I love it!x
ReplyDeleteGorgeousgorgeous print! I adore Anthropologie stuff. I've never actually been in a store of theirs, but sometimes their stuff gets trickled down into my thrift store. I am always so happy to find their brands.
ReplyDeleteI think the fit looks fine.
My favourite clothes are normally the accidental finds. I hate spending hours in shops and not finding what I want, when it's something i've spotted when I wasn't looking it's always quick and it's always something I've fallen in love with. How could that be less than fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThe top is too cute and I love that skirt! I would have snapped that up myself.
Oh this is what i call a shopping miracle ! i love both items, i have never been able to find anything within my budget in Anthro - however i do love their goodies.
ReplyDeleteHOW FUN! The top is just way too cute; too cute to pass by!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a little score to give you a boost of energy. What charming prints on both!
ReplyDeleteSerendipity-doo-dah! I love that skirt and the pink tights, and the pattern mixing with the shirt is really fun!
ReplyDeleteMy best finds are most often when I'm not looking for anything .. adore the top. When I finally visit my daughter my first stop is going to be anthropologie.
ReplyDeleteMy cheeerup today was a double clothing rail schatz bought for me, his concern though is that I have even more hanging space ... lol.
Happy weekend Ally ... enjoy your new finds.
WOW! Great finds! And what a deal too!
ReplyDeleteI need that top in my life!!
ReplyDeleteAhh I've seen so many great reviews from Anthropologie (not exactly reviews, but more like bloggers who say they bought their stuff there and look amazing in it), I wish they would open up a chain in my country :(

These look amazing on you! I have a skirt like that one - I need to wear it soon.
ReplyDeleteOoh, dark lips !
ReplyDeleteThats a very pretty skirt. :)
I am LOVING that deer top! Accidental finds are the best :)
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous, Ally. I don't know how you dealt with any size issues, but the clothes look they fit great. I do love that fabo necklace.
ReplyDeleteI have two more surprises for you when I can get to that darn Post Office. About to die with excitement over one in particular - if it doesn't fit, I'll fling myself off a bridge. Well, maybe nothing so dramatic, but I'll be very sad :(
I would like to live in an Anthropologie. IKEA would be my vacation home.
ReplyDeleteI've only bought stuff at Anthropologie on sale, except for one sweater. I thought about it every day for a full two weeks (if only that were my biggest worry anymore!) and finally gave in and bought it, and I love it. I have to say, there's a difference in quality vs. somewhere like F21. Though F21 has its place too, for sure.
Onto you! LOVE the deer shirt; I have a thing for deer stuff. And I love how you mixed patterns in a bold way that truly works and then coordinated the lipstick with the skirt. What fabulous finds for so little money!
