Montreal

I'm riding my motorcycle up to Montreal this week. I've never been there and hear they speak French. Which is why I'm trying to pass for a Frenchman. Successful?

While up North, I plan to also visit my friend Aimee in Potsdam. Aimee is making a special dress for me by hand and we're doing a fitting. Aimee is both talented and sweet.

Bisous et câlins!

  1. Lol, Montreal isn't French! They are Quebecois! (Kay-beck-quaw). Don't mention the "F" word when you're there - they are very sensitive to that!

I love your very Parisienne outfit though!

    1. Thanks for the clarification. I have a lot to learn about this city and its inhabitants.

  2. Sheila is right...don't call them French! Ha ha! They hate that.

When I lived there it was a constant battle. Somehow they no longer believe their roots are French...they believe they sprouted from the Quebecois soil. I'm serious. Don't even get me started on them and their quirks and BS. Ha ha! It's a great place to visit but I'm darn happy I no longer live there.

I hope you're having fun and I love your outfit! If you wore that you'd get LOTS of comments there! Ha!

PS...the phrase is only bisous...leave out the hugs bit.

  5. Montreal is a wonderful and beautiful city. If you can squeeze a nice dress onto your bike you would find acceptance along Rue de St. Catherine.
    Have fun.

  8. I somehow see this with lipstick and no moustache ( although that is cute too). Have you thought of doing a female outfit without long hair?
    Have fun in Montreal!
