To reward myself for working hard, I wandered into my favorite retail store. It's actually a discount place but with good clothes, some designer-brand. I found two delightful dresses which are great for Spring.
Here's the first one. I like its shape and bright colors. Plus, it's perfect to introduce my new pink earrings which were a gift from my friend Meghan. They look like sneakers! How cool is that?!
The dress is very Spring and I love the floral print.
Now if only it would hurry up and actually get here. Although I've *heard rumblings* that it might make a brief appearance tomorrow. I'm not getting my hopes up though. It's still cold here.
Seriously charming springtime dress!!! Perpetual girly-girl that I am, there is no pattern that I love more than floral and I even joke sometimes that my closet looks more like a garden than a rack of clothing due to that passion (not that I'm complaining about it in the slightest - quite the opposite! :)).
I hope that you're doing well and having a fantastic weekend, Ally.
That dress is perfect for you! The great thing about it, is that it would also look really great during winter with black tights and one of your motorcycle jackets-- I'd love to see you try that look!
Hope you're having a fun weekend. Did you try the lobster pizza yet?
Ah I love spring time. I really should experiment with colours and patterns this season - you always look fabulous in bright things. Those earrings are so cute :)
I am loving this floral on you. I never noticed before what lovely hands you have, Ally! Thank you so much for your very kind comment the other day. *hug*
I have an obsession for floral dresses and this shape is usually very flattering, it looks great on you and you did absolutely right in buying it ! The earrings are super cute ! Kisses
You look great in florals! I tend more towards abstract floral prints (if that makes sense) but enjoy seeing others in full-on blooms. I think this dress is very versatile - it looks great here with the red shoes, but might also be cute with black leggings/tights, sneakers, and a denim jacket.
The dress is a lovely classically feminine style, and the sneaker earrings add a nice dose of wit. You look very happy in this outfit!
ReplyDeleteOoh, that dress is rather stunning on you. As Une Femme says, you look happy and perfect for Spring! The novelty earrings are hilariously fun!!!x
