Somewhere Over The Rainbow


I'm off to see the Wizard! The wonderful Wizard of Oz. Her name is Jennifer and she lives in Atlanta. I'm bringing my dog Toto, too.

I hope the Wizard can find me a heart. And a brain. And courage. Then, I hope the Wizard will help me find a way home.

For the journey, I'm bringing pretty girl-clothes. I don't know if or when or how I'll be able to wear them but, as they say in the Boy Scouts, "Be prepared."  I'm ready!

    I love you Ally - there are so many things to love about you. I've been scarce, posting, but not reading or commenting.

    I think its wonderful that you and Maura are friends. I'm on good terms wit my ex's. Its so much easier. Just because it didn't work out, no need to hate each other.

    We do see things differently as we repeat our journeys -- and view films again as adults. Now, having worked as a script nurse with a Hollywood script doctor, I marvel at how a torch song became a child's song -- with the addition of 'lemon drops'. (I also see the emu beside the cottage in the woods. Why an emu?!)

    Enjoy your adventure. Skipping is encouraged!
