I prize my blue/black vans. I once wore them to a fancy restaurant and the cute young woman escorting us to our table gushed, "You're the coolest guy here!" Fond memory of that!
So magical!! I agree with SS - I adore your colorful shoes. YOU ARE the coolest guy, and gal. ;) I'd so love to dress up for an event like this. The best I can do is don my cat ears for the live performance on the square (usually country bands). People look at me crazy, but the kids get a kick out of it.
SO AWESOME!!!!! :-) You look GREAT and I love that shirt. I'm sorry I couldn't go- it's for the best, I ended up with a severe sunburn and would have been sick the whole time. :-( Maybe next year!!
What a wonderful, joyful event this is! Thanks for sharing it. (Also, blue and black is a criminally under-utilised colour combination, so good on you for wearing it.)
I so have to make a point to go see this one year. What fun. It's wild and whacky, but it's also very freeing to see people put all inhibitions aside and just be. Thanks for capturing and sharing with us. :-)
How joyfully fun! My inner six year old (who is still smitten with The Little Mermaid, apparently - though, I doubt she would have been allowed around so much partial nudity ;) ) just squealed like the dickens when she saw these super fun snaps! :)
Love your blue and black shirt partnered with blue kicks - great outfit!
Yes. Judah Friedlander. He was the Parade King and the Parade Queen (next to him) is Carole Radziwill (daughter-in-law of Lee Radziwill, sister of Jackie Kennedy).
Great pics and thanks for letting us know about this parade, I didn't know it existed ! I would like to see it one day soon ! Also, some days I have no time to comment all the blogs I read, but I wanted to say I read and appreciated your post on James Gandolfini since I am a big Soprano fan and I thought he was such an awesome actor, I am still shocked by his sudden death ! It's great you got to see him acting on stage ! Hugs
Great shots! It's unfortunate we didn't get to meet. It was hard to find anyone there, and I didn't even get to see the parade! I was much too far behind everyone.
Is it that time of year ALREADY? Wow. I love that you managed to get pics of some of the kids as well. Now we just need granny.
ReplyDeleteThe kids were adorable. And I don't even like kids!
DeleteThat looked so much fun! I would have gone as the lobster!
ReplyDeleteP.s I like your shoes/shirt matchingness. But you know I am matchymatchy xx

ReplyDeleteThe pics are better and better every time! What fun. I love how comfortable the women seem in their own bodes.
ReplyDeleteAnd I knew I recognized that king from somewhere! Didn't hit me til I saw the name, but don't know how I missed it with the trucker hat.
Styleitonline.com was just trying to convince me to go with her! Looks like I missed out ;(

Wow, is that the guy from 30 rock ? I saw him in a stand up comedy show a few years back, he was hilarious.
