Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I don't leave my costume up to chance. I'm trying out an idea which may work. I could be a cupcake!
What do you think??
Okay, I know it's short. Too short for real-life, but I like the way it looks and you guys are the only ones who are going to see it. Sometimes you are the secret audience for my private life. Don't you feel lucky?!
I AGREE with Ashley -- OMG! That is an absolutely amazing costume! I would wear that in an instant, and I despise Halloween. People always act so weird, and I never felt like I could break out of my mold like everybody else could. So maybe it's not that I despise Halloween -- it's that I'm kind of jealous those people who can let go of who they are, even for a night.
That is so cute. Did you make it? I am very impressed. I want to wear it! But I need something a bit warmer for trick or treating with the kids. :) Daphne. http://fashiondivamommy.blogspot.com
I'm not a big fan of Halloween, but I can totally get behind that costume. You look adorable in it. Costumes are not supposed to be figure flattering, they are supposed to be FUN. And it don't get more fun then that!
I feel very privileged to be privy to your secret life :)
That is adorable! It means i have to go out and get a costume myself..plan on going to a big halloween party this year and have no idea what to wear. Ally the cupcake is so your personality its missing a cherry and for some reason glitter..think your face would need glitter Great choice!
Adorable, you just need a cute little red beret (cherry on top) :) This could totally work with a pair of tights or I LOVE dressing up on Halloween it's a great chance to wear all those cool things in my closet that I think are 'to much'.
This is adorable and so unique- I've never seen a cupcake costume before! Did you make this? Where is it from? (Mostly because I am tempted to borrow it!)
Emily, I gave a link to where I bought it in a comment above.
Michelle, thank you. I'm not sure yet; it's in the running with a few others.
Cara, probably true. If I could be the 24-year old cute girl of my dreams, I'd probably fantasize about being a middle-aged, grey-haired male lawyer...
If I had your stems I would go for it! This is too cute to pass up, seriously. Maybe a little cherry hat would top off "the look". And I like Ashley's suggestion of wearing the black tights with converse sneakers... but a bright mary jane would work too! With blue tights... hmmm, so many possibilities! You would steal the show!
ive never seen someone dressed as a cupcake before. i love it! its super cute. maybe ill be a macaron. haha i was thinking of dressing in a 40's themed outfit.
OMG. That costume is the best thing ever. Where did you find it?!? I totally see it with black tights and high-top Converse. Maybe I'm weird.
ReplyDeleteI love the concept! A little tweaking (make the top poufier, perhaps) this will be an awesome costume!

Wow, I'm shocked to see a store-bought costume that doesn't have "sexy" in the name! This is very cute.
ReplyDeleteI love this costume! I like seeing costumes that I have never seen before! Very cute!
ReplyDeleteWhee!!! That costume is so much fun! I LOVE it! I can't believe it has sprinkles too (and gloves!). It's adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm only finding slutty Halloween costumes at the stores (sexy devil? sexy Hermione?). I'll probably have to make my own costume this year.

I want to be a cupcake now, too. Fabulous, my friend!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun, but you need something on your head. A large cherry!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Terry: a large cherry or red afro wig to represent a cherry. And with tights I think it would be totally wearable.
ReplyDeleteYou look delish!

ReplyDeleteDon't you sometimes wish secret lives were the real lives? If that was the case, would we still have another secret life?
ReplyDeleteI love it! So dainty! Are you wearing it on the actual day too? :)
