Winter Walks

My new hiking hat (Dorfman Pacific) and warm winter jacket (bought yesterday at REI) kept me toasty this morning in 20-degree temperatures.

It's fun to be outdoors in any weather!

  1. Love it. Fresh air is always good but 20° is a bit out of my comfort zone LOL . Have a great week!

  4. Fresh air is good, I agree, but I think I still prefer my fresh air at 50 degrees and up, lol.

  6. I agree but only if you have the right gear, as you do now! I hate the rain but I bought some glitter rain boots last year and they definitely make it bearable!

  8. Isn't it though? If I go more than a day or two without being outside, my soul starts to feel antsy and my mood shifts. Nature is perhaps the greatest source of serenity I've ever known - only creating (be it writing, crafts, etc) comes close.

May the returning days of spring bring ample opportunities for us both to savour and delight in time spent under the loving gaze of the sun (and moon).

  9. Shadow photos are tricky. It came out well. Apart from that, I feel that too much of winter will may not be good for health. Stay warm and have hot. It is freezing here so walks are just around the house. Lol. Enjoy your life, have fun. And yes, I am in love with that hat. Can you share the a proper pic of it.
