There's snow on the ground -- and another snowstorm coming tonight -- so it seems Winter isn't gone yet here in New York. And yet... this bad boy is visiting my front yard today. So maybe Spring is around the corner.
Do you have bird in your yard?
Pretty! I occasionally get an Australian white ibis that flies by...and some really large bats. Haha. I do miss seeing cardinals, though!
ReplyDeleteBats! They would scare me.
DeleteYou are so lucky to get to see Cardinals! We don't have them here where I live. But we get plenty of other migratory birds. Lots of goldfinches, chickadees, robins, cedar waxwings, etc. I love seeing them all.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a pleasant weekend, friend <3
I am. Thanks, buddy.
DeleteThat is a gorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteWe have a Robin living on the side of the house. She looked like she was ready to drop her eggs soon. I hope she is okay as I haven't seen her in a few days.
This Spring feels more like winter!
bisous

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. I love your name!
DeleteAwwww, a Cardinal! So lovely to see him!
ReplyDeleteAwww this bird is super cute <3 Sadly I have only pigeons (can't stand them) and only sometimes sparrows. Hugs

There was a giant hawk in our tree the other day. I got a cruddy photo of it but at least I got proof.
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for spring. As soon as it appears to be on the horizon, I feel as though we get yet another blast of cold though. What a beautiful bird!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh ... is that a robin ?
ReplyDeleteIn my case I have parakeets and a few parrots that I can hear in the mornings, if I am super lucky I'll see a toucan.
