Punxsutawney

Today I visited a quirky town with a funny name. The whole place is an homage to a groundhog named Phil. I liked it.

  1. Interesting and kindof strange... I love quirky places like this though. You must have some really interesting places to explore around where you live. I for sure will come there one day!!

    1. That's my aspiration. I realized last year I wasn't riding my motorcycle as much as I used to -- and I really enjoyed it -- so I'm adjusting the amount of motorcycle-touring I do.

  3. Long live Phil - or else this wee town is in trouble! Greet shots. xo

  6. Awesome! :) I've always had a soft spot for Groundhog's day and this unique little town that is so heavily focused on its ties to such. Was there a favourite groundhog related sight that stood out for you there?

    1. The town has a dozen or so large statues of groundhogs which are painted with different colors and designs. Like the painted horses and cows in other places. They're fun to see.
